Indian Head Massage
Indian head massage is based on the Ayurvedic system of healing which has been practiced in India for over a thousand years. It is an excellent stress-buster and releases the tension that has accumulated in the tissues, muscles and joints of the head, face, neck and shoulders.

It is a non-intrusive therapy and the client, with just the shoulders exposed wearing a toweling wrap, sits in a massage chair for the treatment (which can be adapted to suit a fully clothed person). The therapist uses a range of firm, rhythmical massage movements over the neck, shoulders, arms and scalp help to improve circulation and disperse toxins from tense and knotted muscles. In addition, the therapist will also gently stimulate and stroke pressure points on the face. Each treatment is completed with a Chakra Balancing, which by itself can be wonderfully rejuvenating experience.

Indian head massage is good for relieving stress, tension, fatigue, insomnia, headaches, migraine, eye-strain and sinusitis. Clients report that the experience is deeply calming and relaxing, leaving them feeling energised and revitalised and better able to concentrate.

Indian head massage also helps increase joint mobility and flexibility in the neck and shoulders, improves blood circulation and lymphatic flow, frees knots of muscular tension, relaxes connective tissue, and aids in the elimination of accumulated toxins and waste products.

Although Indian Head Massage can be enjoyed without the application of oil there are powerful benefits to be gained from the use of specific oils to suit your needs.
